ABOUT E.STOTT
Based in an atelier in West London, we create clothes that combine traditional craftmanship with contemporary feminity. Playful, romantic and with attitude.
Our pieces are elegantly constructed and can be added to over time, piece by piece, to extend their life, and reduce consumption.
WHAT WE DO
The E.STOTT design aesthetic is rooted in the female form. With distinctive flowing twists and fluidity E.STOTT pieces artfully drape the body, flatter the wearer and offer a timeless grace.
Craftsmanship and luxury fabrics are at the core of each collection. Sustainability is at the centre of the brands principles.
E.STOTT garments are a celebration of colour. Energetic, expressive, and honest. We love making clothes for the creatively inquisitive.
BUILT IN ADAPTABILITY
Our garments provide the opportunity to be easily tailored to fit you perfectly and to continue to be adapted over time.
We add enough seam allowance down the sides of our fitted garments to change a whole size up.
A PIECE-BY-PIECE APPROACH
Having a sustainable wardrobe is as much about how you wear it, as what you own.
We provide the opportunity for you to adapt and update your wardrobe, by detaching a sleeve or adding a draped belt.
We address over-consumption and reduce environmental impacts by extending garments’ lives and creating choices. Update something you already own.
As an antidote to a throwaway society, the concept of keeping is revolutionary.
POST-PRODUCTION WASTE
We curate a proportion of our collections using a selection of sustainably sourced, post-production, waste fabric from other luxury brands. These pieces are produced in small production quantities due to the limited supply.
Since launching, E.STOTT has already reappropriated thousands of meters of fabric back into the fashion system.
Fabric production is a large contributor to the fashion industry’s environmental impact. It is important for E.STOTT to be resourceful. As well as using others waste material, we also produce exclusive products from our own waste.
MONOFIBRES & LOW IMPACT FABRICS
At E.STOTT, we champion using monofibres that are easier to recycle.
Our principle fabric is 100% silk, selected for its beauty as well as its versatility.
Our collection also consists of non-blended natural wool which ensure durability, heat regulation and are fully degradable.
PACKAGING
All packaging materials used throughout the E.STOTT identity are made from recycled pre and post-consumer waste, or are biodegradable.
As a means to reduce the items in the E.STOTT stationery and packaging, stickers were produced which could be used across all items, making the packaging more adaptable.
Sometimes it’s hard to tangibly see how your purchasing decisions make a difference. Take ownership of the environmental impact of your wardrobe and adapt something you already own.
“Clothes touch us all. We may not be interested in fashion but we can’t avoid getting dressed, which means every time we gaze into our wardrobes wondering what to wear, we could be making a choice that has a positive or negative impact. ”
